This Privacy Policy explains how Voyara Team ("Voyara", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use the Voyara mobile application and related services (the "Service"). Voyara is intended for users ages 17 and older.

If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Service.

1) Who We Are

2) Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to information processed by Voyara in connection with the Service, including in-app features that let you discover and share travel videos and descriptions, interact with other travelers, and personalize your feed.

3) Information We Collect

We collect information in the following ways:

A. Information you provide to us

  • Account information: name, username, and email address.
  • Customer support: content you send to us (for example, messages, attachments, and troubleshooting information).
  • Content you create: travel videos, photos, captions, descriptions, comments, and other information you choose to post or submit through the Service.

B. Location information (when you allow it)

  • Approximate location: may be derived from network information (such as IP address).
  • Precise location: collected only if you grant permission in your device settings. You can disable location access at any time.

C. Information we collect automatically

  • Device and technical information: device model, operating system version, language, time zone, and app version.
  • Identifiers and connection data: IP address and device identifiers (as available and permitted by your device and settings).
  • Usage information: interactions with the Service, pages/screens viewed, features used, referring/exit pages, and timestamps.
  • Crash logs and diagnostics: crash reports and performance data to help us fix bugs and improve stability.

D. Cookies and similar technologies

If the Service includes web-based views or companion web pages, we and our service providers may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies (which may include web beacons) to keep you logged in, remember preferences, and understand how the Service is used. You can usually manage cookies through your device or browser settings, but some features may not function properly without them.

4) How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Enable core functionality (posting content, viewing feeds, interacting with other users).
  • Personalize your experience (such as tailoring your feed based on interests and settings).

  • Protect the safety, security, and integrity of the Service (fraud prevention, abuse detection, enforcement of policies).
  • Provide customer support and communicate with you.

We do not sell your personal information.

5) AI-Assisted Features (If Available)

Some features may be described or offered as AI-assisted (for example, generating or improving captions/descriptions, suggesting tags, summarizing text, or helping you create travel-related content).

If you choose to use these AI-assisted features:

  • You control what you upload: you decide whether to submit text, images, or other content for processing.
  • Processing on our servers: submitted text/images are processed on Voyara Team controlled servers.
  • No third-party sharing: we do not share the submitted text/images with any third party for AI processing.
  • Ephemeral processing: submitted text/images are deleted promptly after processing is completed, unless you choose to save the resulting output in the Service.
  • No training/marketing use: submitted content used for AI-assisted processing is not used to train models and is not used for advertising/marketing.

6) Photos and Face Data

Voyara does not perform facial recognition and does not create or use biometric identifiers from your photos or videos.

If you choose to use any feature that analyzes a photo (for example, to generate a description), the processing is performed one-time for the requested result and the inputs are deleted promptly after processing is completed. By default, your original media is stored locally on your device unless you choose to upload or post it. We do not use your media for training or marketing.

7) How We Disclose Information

We may disclose information in the following limited circumstances:

A. With your consent

We may share information when you direct us to do so or give us permission.

B. Service providers (processors)

We may share information with trusted vendors that process data on our behalf to help us provide the Service (for example, hosting, storage, analytics, security, or customer support). They are authorized to use information only as necessary to provide services to us and must protect it.

C. Legal, safety, and rights

We may disclose information if we believe in good faith that it is necessary to comply with law, enforce our policies, or protect the rights, property, and safety of Voyara, our users, or the public.

D. Business transfers

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate safeguards.

We disclose information using the principle of minimum necessity.

8) International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers, which may include the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and other lawful mechanisms.

9) Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information, including encryption in transit and at rest (where appropriate), access controls and least-privilege practices, regular security reviews/audits, and backups and recovery practices.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. You use the Service at your own risk.

10) Data Retention

  • Account information: for as long as your account is active.
  • After account deletion: we delete or anonymize personal information within 30 days, except where we must retain it for legal or security purposes.
  • Usage analytics: retained up to 12 months.
  • Customer support records: retained up to 6 months.

11) Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent (where processing is based on consent), including location permissions.

12) Age Restriction

Voyara is intended for users ages 17 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 17. If you believe a user under 17 has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

13) Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Effective Date" above when we do. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the updated Privacy Policy, to the extent permitted by law.
